A Walk-in interview will be conducted for filling-up the following temporary post in the
Anusandhan National Research Foundation funded project entitled, "Role of Ethanol in Epigenomic
Re-programming During Abiotic Stress in Arabidopsis thaliana” sanctioned under the Advanced
Research Grant program to the undersigned.
Position: Senior Research Fellow x 01 post
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree
in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship
(Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government
Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR,
ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
In addition to the above candidate should have at least two years of research experience.
Desirable Qualification: Research experience in Plant Tissue Culture, age less than 35 years is highly
desirable;
Salary: Rs. 42000/-p.m.+ HRA (as per university norms), consolidated.
Duration: 3 years (2026-2029)
Venue: Seminar room#313 A-block University School of Biotechnology.
