A walk-in-interview will be held in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University
at 10.00 a.m. on 28/05/2026 for the temporary position of one (01) Project Associate-I in the DBT sponsored
research project entitled “Comparative genomic and functional analysis of multi-drug efflux pump homologs in
Ralstonia solanacearum F1C1: Insights into pathogenesis and virulence in tomato and eggplant”, under the Principal
Investigators Prof. Suvendra Kumar Ray and Dr. Aditya Kumar, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology,
Tezpur University, Napaam, Tezpur – 784028, Assam.
Essential Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/Microbiology/
Genetics/ Life Science.
Desirable: Experience in Computational Biology
Emolument: ₹25,000 (Rupees twenty-five thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month.
Age limit: Candidates shall not be more than 35 years of age as on the date of interview.
Duration: Appointment will be initially for a period of six (06) months or until further, whichever is earlier, which
may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project.
Interested candidates may appear before the interview board physically at 10.00 a.m. on 28/05/2026 with all original and
self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, caste certificate (if applicable),
experience certificate (if any), certificate of NET/GATE or similar examination qualifications (if applicable), any other
testimonials, copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) and duly filled in application in Annexure-I (enclosed).
Original documents of the candidates will be verified by the Selection Committee.
