A Walk-In-Test Cum Interview for selection of Young Professional -II (01 Post) under the
scheme Centre for Agricultural Bioinformatics (CABin) purely on contractual basis shall be
held on 22.06.2026 at 10:00 AM at ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode - 673012.

Essential Postgraduate in Biotechnology with two years' experience.
qualification
Desirable Two years of experience in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics with expertise
qualification in analyzing Next Generation Sequence Datasets, Marker Assisted Selection,
Programming skills and command over Linuxl Python! R, database
develooment.
Duration
• Initial engagement will be for one year which is extendable up to three
years (01 year at a time) subject to requirement of the services of the YP
in the orQ:anization and satisfactory oerformance of the candidate
TA/DA TA/DA will be admissible to YP II for undertaking domestic tour for
official work
Age limit Minimum 21 and maximum 45 years as on date of written
test/Interview.
Candidates born on or in between 22.06.1981 and
22.06.2005 may apply. (Age relaxation is applicable for
SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged/ Ex-Serviceman candidates as per
Govt. of India Rules1
Emoluments Rs. 42,000/- per month (Consolidated)
The candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria may attend the Walk-In-Test
Cum Interview at ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode on the date mentioned above. The Candidates should
be present in the venue at 09:30 AM on the date of written test/ Interview; late comers will
not be allowed to appear for the written test/Interview.
They should bring with them,
original certificates in proof of age, caste, educational qualifications, experience, publications, etc.
and a copy of all the above certificates. Those who do not furnish the Original or Provisional
Certificate will not be allowed to appear for the written testlinterview.
No TA will be paid for the journey for attending the interview.
