Applications are invited for a temporary position in the following DST-Cognitive Science
Research Initiative (CSRI) sponsored research project::
Title of Project: Targeting Fibronectin 1 (FN1) for cognitive dysfunction associated with
temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE)

Name of Position: Senior Project Associate-I
Number of Positions: One (01)
Monthly Remuneration: ₹42,000/- per month + HRA (as applicable as per DST norms)
Tenure: Initially for one year and extendable based on satisfactory performance till
completion of the project.
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences/Life Sciences/Biotechnology/
Biochemistry/Biomedical Science/Neuroscience/Molecular Biology or equivalent and four
years’ experience in R&D in academic/industrial institutions OR Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in rodent models, behavioral neuroscience, molecular
biology, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, cell culture, EEG/electrophysiology, epilepsy
research, scientific writing and data analysis.
Age Limit: Maximum age 40 years as per Government of India/DST norms.
