Applications are invited on prescribed form along with the application fee of Rs. 200/- in shape of online payment on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana along with attested copies of certificates for these positions as given below:
1. One post Project Associate- I @ Rs 25,000/- per month fixed + 16% HRA for in the Project entitled “Application of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology in Agriculture-BIC at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana’’ CSS-04 (PC-6352) – (Financed by Govt. of India, Ministry of Science & Technology, DBT, New Delhi).
Educational qualifications:
- B.Sc./B.Tech with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
- M.Sc/M. Tech in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/Systems Biology/System Biology and Bioinformatics/Data Science/Biotechnology/Biomedical Informatics/Computational Systems Biology/Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and related discipline with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.
Maximum Age: 18 years to 35 years.
Note-I: The candidates who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.
Note-II: Desirable qualification: Candidate with experience handling NGS data/ programming languages/database development/ Machine learning and AI will be preferred
Note-III: The Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.
