Essential:
1). M..SC in Bioinformatics with more than 60 percent of marks obtained from a recognized university. Or
M. Online or Correspondence course diploma holders without regular attendance need not apply. Or
Ph.D in Life Sciences ( Botany or Zoology or Agriculture) from a recognized university with a Post graduate diploma ( of more than one year course duration) from a major recognised University; online, Correspondence course diploma holders without regular attendance need not apply.
Experience required:
1). Two years experience in Bioinformatics after graduation with a reputed organization
2). Demonstrated knowledge & skills in use of Bioinformatics tools, Programming skills ( piping script design) in Perl/Java or any other language
3). Good knowledge of plant biology & molecular biology.
Desirable:
Experience in analysis of crop experimental data.
Nature of Duties: Bioinformatics
