  5. No transparency at all. It's pathetic. We need to file RTI against CSIR, they must reveal the cut off. What is the use if they do it after 5-6 months.

  6. If you are now in the fourth semester and expected to pass after May-June them, send your 3rd Sem marksheet before 31st March. However, your certificate will be issued when you send your final sem marksheet sometime in June-July when your results are out. Till you get your final certificate you can take your admit card and pdf print of the result as proof to the interviews.
    All the best.

  8. I dont get it? I scored 96 marks when compared with helpbiotech answer key for dec 2011 JRF-NET but am not able to grab even the NET. I know a person who scored 82 according to helpbiotech answer key and got rank under 100. This is surprising! What do you think? Can csir do wrong checking of answer sheets? I am plannig to file RTI.

  17. one crossing his/her marks above 100 means above 50% so why not in the merit list...its very shocking becoz previous cut off was 37% for ls and 43% for jrf... what is the criteria for selection??

  18. hey i have cleared NET csir (ls) with 16th rank. to my knowledge, there is no particular cut off mark for this exam and it varies depending on the topper's marks. for instance, when i cleared the exam, the topper got 134.5marks out of 200 i.e,~67.25%. so the cut off for jrf was 43% and for Ls WAS 38% FOR GENERAL CATEGORY STUDENTS. i got 41%. this award of marks is purely dependant on no seats/stipends available i.e for every time the exam conducted, the top ~750 students are awrded with jrf and the next 5% cut off students are awarded LS. this is the selection criteria.

  20. Is there any way to know the cut off mark for Dec 2011 CSIR exam? I score 103 according to helpbiotech keys but did not clear even in LS category...

  21. do not worry friends if there is will there is a way. Try securing 100% and I bet you will come around at least 70%. The job right now is not discussing what is the cut-off score rather how to complete the syllabus. May GOD be with you.

    Best of luck.
