NO. IBSD/01/ADMN/SPS/216/2010 (VOL. IV): Institute of Bioresearches and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal, a research Institute under Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, invites applications from the suitable candidates for the following positions for its extramural research project funded by Department of Science and Technology, SEED Division, Govt. of India. Application in prescribed format is available at the Institute’s website or from the receptionist of the Institute.
Duly fill in application form along with photo copies of attested certificate / testimonials in support of age and educational qualifications with recent self attested passport size photograph of the candidates may be submitted to the Director, IBSD, Takyelpat, Imphal during Office hour on or before 4th August, 2014. Only eligible / short listed candidates will be intimated for an interview before the selection committee. The selection procedure will be strictly adhered to Govt. of India norms.
Senior Programme Officer (1)
Duration of the project: Till 31-03-2017 or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.

M.Sc. Zoology/Biotechnology/Entomology with 5-10 year research experience and capable of handling societal project.
2. Project Assistant (1)
8000.00 pm fixed
M.Sc. Zoology/Biotechnology/Entomology with 2-3 year research experience.
3. Field Assistant (1)
8000.00 pm fixed
B.Sc. Zoology/Biotechnology with 2-3 year research experience.
1. The above positions are purely temporary and co- terminus with the respective project. The selected candidates shall not claim for appointment either to IBSD, Imphal, RCIBSD, Sikkim or DST, New Delhi.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
3. The details of the advertisement are available in the Institute’s website (http://ibsd.gov.in) or as hard copy from the receptionist of the Institute.
4. The upper age limit for applying Senior Programme Officer shall be 35 years and for Project Assistant and Field Assistant is 28 years (relaxable for reserved categories as per GOI norms).
5. If a candidate wishes to apply for more than one position, the candidate shall apply separately.
5. The name of the position applied should be clearly written on the front of the envelope.
6. Application form must accompany degree certificate and marksheet which is essential for preliminary screening. Failure to enclose these documents with application will result in direct rejection of the application form.
