WALK IN INTERVIEW FOR FIELD ASSISTANT
Project Title: “Taxonomic study of Tettigoniidae (Orthoptera) of India”
Funding Agency: All India Coordinated Project of Taxonomy, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India
Tenure of the Project: Three Years; Appointment will be initially for a period of one year and extendable.
Position: Field Assistant
Place of Posting: Canning/Kolkata (West Bengal)
Essential Qualification: Bachelors degree in Biological Science or Equivalent from a recognised University with minimum 55% marks and Zoology as a major subject.
Desirable: Experience of working in entomofauna, Knowledge of Computer and basic field data collection, field photography etc.
Candidate possessing higher qualification may also appear for the interview.
Stipend: Rs.10,000/- P.M. (Consolidated)
Date and Venue of Interview: 03-02-2017 Zoological Survey of India, Prani Vigyan Bhawan, 535, M-Block, New Alipore, Kolkata – 700 053.
Upper age limit: 28 yrs. on the date of the interview.
The above post is purely temporary and can be terminated with one month notice. The terms and the condition of the appointment shall be governed in accordance with the Zoological Survey of India. Interested candidate should bring completely filled in application form on plain paper and one passport size photograph pasted along with attested copies of all certificates and marksheets for attending the walk-in-interview on the time and venue mentioned above. No T.A./D.A. is admissible to the candidates for appearing at the walk-ininterview. The Director, Zoological Survey of India reserves the rights of selection or rejection of any candidate and cancellation of the walk-in-interview.
