Candidates are invited to appear before the selection committee in the walk-in-interview for filling up
the purely temporary position in the scheme of “Short-Term Research Fellowship” programme, under
the supervision of Dr. Pinky Agarwal, Scientist, NIPGR. The details of the position are as under:
1.
Name of Position: Project Associate-I (PA-I) 01 post.
Upper age limit: 35 years.
Eligibility: Candidates having a M. Sc. Degree (with minimum 60% marks) in
Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Botany/Life Sciences/Plant Molecular Biology or equivalent, and
as per DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020 are eligible to
attend walk-in-interview.
Candidate with prior work experience in the laboratory with plant
molecular biology, biochemistry and/or bioinformatics will be preferred.
The Fellowship amount for the above position is at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The
above position is completely on temporary basis with a maximum duration of three years. The initial
appointment will be for a period of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based on the
performance of the candidate and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to
select the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the
candidate. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The position may be terminated
any time by giving a month notice by either side.
The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit
for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.
Eligible candidates may appear for the walk-n-interview on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.
Candidates must submit copies of all certificates (class 10th onwards) at the time of interview, along with
their CV in the attached format only.
All candidates must ascertain their eligibility before appearing, as any ineligible candidature will be
rejected.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.
