Walk-in-Interview on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. onwards for the post of one Senior
Research Fellow.
Candidates are invited to appear before selection committee in the walk-in-interview for filling up the purely
temporary position of one Senior Research Fellow in the DBT Multi-institutional project “Characterization of
chickpea germplasm resource to accelerate genomics-assisted crop improvement”, under mission programme
of “Characterization of genetic resources”, under the supervision of Dr. Sabhyata Bhatia, Scientist, NIPGR.
Emoluments `. 35000/- plus 24 % HRA per month as sanctioned
in the project.
Qualification: Candidates having Master’s Degree in Life Science or related field with at least 60% (or
equivalent) marks with at least two years of post-Master’s research experience in Functional Genomics and
Bioinformatics and fulfilling the guidelines/norms of DST/DBT are eligible for interview.
Certificate of
experience and Master’s degree/marksheets must be provided at the time of application/interview.
The above position is completely on temporary basis. The appointment can be curtailed on the basis of
assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the
right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualification and experience of the
candidate. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The appointment may be terminated any
time by giving on month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for
consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.
Eligible candidates may appear for walk-in-interview at National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR),
Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi-110067 on March 22, 2024 (Friday) at 10:00 a.m. along with the duly filled in
application form in the prescribed format. The duly filled application form along with the educational certificate
must be submitted at the time of registration at NIPGR from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on March 22, 2024. Any
candidate reporting after 11:00 a.m. will not be entertained for walk-in-interview. The candidate must ascertain
their eligibility before applying, as ineligible candidates will not be interviewed. All the candidates are requested
to appear for the interview with complete bio-data, publications and original degree/experience certificates and
transcripts. Canvassing in any form or bringing influence, political or otherwise, will lead to disqualification of
the candidate(s).
