Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the post of “Research Assistant” on contract basis for ICMR funded project entitled “Strengthening laboratory surveillance for Pneumococcal Meningitis in India to understand the Impact of Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) rollout” under Dr. Ashwin Y Belludi, Assistant Professor of Neurovirology & Principal Investigator, NIMHANS, Bengaluru – 560029.

Essential Qualification MSc in Life Sciences
Experience/qualification 1 year work experience in a medical diagnostic laboratory from a recognized institute

Desirable Work experience on RT-PCR in a medical diagnostic laboratory setting

Emoluments Rs.28,000 + Rs. 7560/- (@27% HRA p.m)

Maximum Age Limit 30 years

Nature of duties Laboratory testing for meningeal Pathogens

Duration of the project 6 months
