Applications are invited for the following posts purely on contractual basis in ICAR-Indian Institute Millets Research, Hyderabad-500030. 

Name of the position Senior Research Fellow (SRF) 

Number of Position Two (02) 

Name of the Project Enhancing climate resilience and ensuring food security with genome editing tool 

Essential Qualification Master’s degree in relevant subjects/disciplines (Biological sciences / Biotechnology / Botany / Genetics / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Agriculture) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. 

Candidates having Post-graduation degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience. 

Desirable qualifications Experience in Tissue culture / Genetic transformation / Genome editing / Molecular techniques of any field crops 

Rate of remuneration Rs. 31,000/- + HRA as per the rule 

Duration of the project Up to 31-03-2026 or till completion of the project whichever is earlier
