Qualification
Master's Degree in Biotechnology / Genetic
engineering / Molecular biology / Plant Biotechnology,
OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in
Biotechnology / Genetic engineering/Molecular biology
/ Plant Biotechnology from a recognized University or
equivalent;
AND
(ii) 02 years' experience preferably in R&D in Molecular
biology techniques in Industrial and Academic
Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations
or Private Industries.
Desirable: Hands-on experience in plant / tree molecular
biology including genetic cloning, plant DNA / RNA
extraction, PCR / qPCR, gene expression analysis, and
Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. Familiarity with
plant tissue culture techniques, vector construction, and
biosafety protocols applicable to plant biology research.
